We had 2 rattan chairs facing the windows and directly into the sun. After 10 years, the leather was peeling like it had a sunburn. I used the leather repair filler and then dyed the seats back to their original color. Took almost the entire 2 oz container of filler, and 4 coats of dye, but looks great!

This is my second project with LeatherTouchupDye.com It was way more than a touch-up! I completely re-dyed a large chair and ottoman that had faded in the sun. I had to use a lot of dye to get it even, but I think that’s because there was a leather protector on the chair that didn’t come off evenly. I used the leather cleaner first, but since Covid-19 I haven’t been able to find any rubbing alcohol. I think that would have helped in this case. The chair came out a bit darker than I planned but it looks like it was meant to be this color! Like a new piece of furniture!

All I have to say is WOW! I found a great ottoman for my leather sofa at a bargain but it was very light ivory and didn’t match. I found you guys on YouTube and watched the color change video and thought I would try and change the color myself. It came out perfect! I had to do some touch-ups on my sofa and applied three full coats of the same dye on the new ottoman and you cannot tell it’s not from the set originally Thank you for a great product!

Car is a 1991 Eunos (Miata) BRG with leather. One seat had 2 large holes and the other a split seam and various abrasions and cracks. I decided to match the seats by repairing holes/split and filling two stitched seams on each to match. I worked slowly over a few days to level and smooth. The dye (M231 – Saddle) was such a perfect match, I didn’t need to dye the complete seats. The results were amazing! Thanks also to Customer Support who were very helpful.

Holy goodness! I was praying for the best and expecting the worst, but these products are AMAZING! Miracle workers right here! I had a blue stain.. maybe ink, maybe new jeans.. not sure, but I used the cleaner, then the ink remover and cleaner once more and it was GONE! After it had set in for over a week! Not only no sign of it in my brand new car but somehow these products made my seat look even newer! Thank you!! 10/10 would use again and recommend!

We bought a couch and love seat back in 2002. We have always had two or more large dogs in our home. Our furry children were always invited to our furniture. We purchased the furniture in Costco and loved the color and quality. But presently leather furniture is so expensive (we paid $2,000 for both pieces). The love seat had the worst damage with a large hole so after inquiring about reupholster, a quote of $4,000 I decided to redye (I got a quote of $195 for the couch but the loveseat was told to get rid off). I rather do it myself in order to make sure it is correctly done and the videos on youtube showed this product to be good. The $250 I paid for the cleaner and dye was expensive and the outcome was not perfect (throughout the years I did conditioned the leather but in the end it only hurt because it was deeply embedded into the leather). I cleaned according to the directions. I applied several coats in some places and I am satisfied that it looks very very good. Not exactly like new but hell of a restoration without the professional knowledge. I would recommend the product if you love your couch like I do.

I’ve watched many of your videos on YouTube to see how this product worked and if it was worth it….I can absolutely tell you that it is!!! Had a long term visitor sleeping on my sofa after surgery and I thought my leather was destroyed from all of the dye wearing off in one section. I submitted a sample to color match, received the 8oz dye kit pretty quickly to the South Central U.S. I followed the supplied directions and applied the dye. WOW!!! The color match was as close to perfect as it could get and the process was very simple. Thank you!!

I can’t be more pleased with the results from my project. My couch is almost 35 yrs old. I had forgotten how dark the original color was. It had faded to a very light ‘tan’ color. I took a chance and ordered what I thought matched the color of an unexposed area, but it was just a bit too ‘gray’. I found the color tag under the couch and sent that in and Leathertouchupdye.com matched it perfectly. The result speaks for itself! My couch is back to it’s original color and no longer looks dry and washed out. It took several layers, but the shine and soft texture has been restored! I’m working at ‘restuffing’ the cushions. I can’t wait for my next project!

Had a “professional” repair a rip in a leather couch which lasted less than a week. I was skeptical that anyone could make a product kit that would fix this very expensive cut. A quick trip to Hamilton, a filler kit, custom colour and many YouTube viewings I came up with a near perfect repair! (see attached pics)

I had a old faded (but high quality) couch set. My husband and I had talked for years about re-dying it, but never got around to it. I finally purchased a leather dye kit from your company and am delighted and absolutely stunned at the transformation. If you look closely at the photo of the unfinished love seat, there is a small area of the original color on the footrest. The color matched perfectly — I will admit I got completely obsessive about this project and spent days on it. The final result is spectacular!

The arm on my Aniline sofa was very cracked and had a horrible ripped spot. The filler was easy to use and I filled the cracks to keep the leather from ripping further. I’m hoping this extends the life of my sofa another 20 years! I dyed it close to the original color- Dark Brown-B.

I did my research and first looked on Amazon and saw cheaper options and one reviewer actually had a link to you guys in his review after having a poor experience with the one I was considering. After checking out the link, it brought me to you guys and I never went back, I chose the Maroon Brown-C darkest 4 oz and still have over half a bottle left for touch up’s for my love seat and couch that I have had for about 6 years and both although were expensive had cheap dye on them and both had faded to the point that I was about to donate them and buy new ones. The pictures show it all and I am so glad I did not buy the cheap dye from Amazon.

Have recently refinished two leather red chairs. The colour had faded significantly and we were considering replacing then when we came across this company online. This product did an awesome job on my leather sectional! Over the last 12 years it has been beaten up by numerous dogs, cats, and humans. My badly faded, scratched, and rough feeling sectional is now a beautiful piece of furniture again. 8oz of leather dye was enough to do several heavy coats on the seat cushions, and 2 lighter coats on everything else but the backside of the sectional. The leather filler goes a long way! I bought the 2oz because I didn’t want to run out and I still have most of it left. I had several deep scratches but no tears. My only complaint is that I spent extra $$ on cleaner that I didn’t need. I used the easy order wizard and didn’t see in the small picture of the dye packages that it already included an 8oz cleaner. Hopefully that will help someone else. Overall, I’m ecstatic because my sectional looks brand new again!

This was a great product! Easy to use! Yes, I was concerned about having perforated designer seats in my 2004 Porsche Boxster, but it worked great! No, the product did not fill in the little holes at all, just dyed the area black. Was pretty amazing that when you actually put on the filler that it finds little cracks that you didn’t even know were there. I kinda went crazy with the filler because I wanted to prevent wear in other spots on the side bolsters. I ended up putting on 3 coats of dye on everything, then filler, then lightly sanded filler areas, found some more areas and filled again (be careful with filler and get it off with application tool, because this filler stuff is very durable and hard to sand off) luckily I did a good job with it to start and sanding was very minor. Then I put on 3 coats of dye on top of just the filled areas for color. Then top coated it with a single coat of the clear sealer on everything. Took about 2 hours of actual work in my heated garage, total time was over a Saturday and Sunday where I let the first 3 coats sit overnight. The filler and final coats were all done on a Sunday, and I used a hairdryer to dry it between coats.

We had a scratched up and dirty off-white leather sectional that we were considering giving away. We hated to do that since it was comfortable and originally very expensive. We were quoted a price of $2,000 to have it repaired and re-dyed. I saw your video on the internet (where he turned the brown chair blue) and I was hooked. I love a good project (challenge). We wanted a color change so I found a paint swatch at the hardware store and mailed that to your company. You were able to match the color exactly. It took several coats to cover the white (about 3) and I found that using a small foam roller was easier than using the foam pads. After switching to the roller it was a breeze. I was able to change the color and make it look brand new for less than half the price of having it done by someone else. Now on to my next project!

I am currently restoring my Toyota MR2 Spyder and decided to dye my car seats instead of replacing. I wanted a dual color and after watching the LeatherTouchupDye.com on Youtube, I thought this would work for me. My seats were tan to begin with and I dyed them black and a custom color of gray. They turned out great! My friends thought they were professionally done. One suggestion, take your time and don’t rush the process. Also, over estimate on the amount of dye that you will need. I took my time on this project and allowed plenty of drying time between coats of dye. I am extremely happy with the results.

I was very nervous to repair the torn seat in my newly acquired dream car, a 1985 Mercerdes 380sl. But after doing a bit of research and learning about your product, I decided you were the best solution.
I’m not the handiest person around, but I followed the process shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHiiVLR2LSg and the result is just great.
Whereas previously, anyone looking at my car noticed the gaping holes in the seat, now since I’ve made the repair no one has noticed that a repair was ever made. Because I made the repair I can barely see the repaired area, but no one else ever would. I slide into my seat on a daily basis, giddy that I don’t have to worry about a damaging the seat or introducing a new tear.
I would recommend this product/method for any small to medium sized leather repair, and I have a sofa I’m planning to repair the same way.

This is a wonderful product! I had a very faded nubuck/suede push back recliner that was very faded and had severe cracking and peeling on the arms. I was concerned about the fact that it was nubuck and wouldn’t end up smooth, but that was not a problem. I used the large dye kit with Dark Brown B color and a filler kit.
