I cannot believe how new my couches look after refinishing them! I had bought the patch kit to include the dye for that repair. However, when I started to use the dye, I saw how incredibly faded my couches were. I bought another dye kit to complete both couches. My family and I couldn’t believe how good they looked! Better than when we bought them 14 years ago.
I was apprehensive at first to do this project, but in reality, it was very fast and easy once I got the hang of it. Watching YouTube videos was very helpful! What’s amazing is how quickly they dry, within 10 minutes although let it sit longer.
If you think these products are expensive, compare it to hiring a company to do it. I was quoted $1000 for 1 couch and $150 to patch a hole. This purchase has been well worth the results! – Dark Brown-B

I bought the leather touch up dye over a year ago, put it aside, and never got to use it. We had bought a used leather sectional and it had some scratches from the people’s pets. Our dog started “burying” his bone in the couch when we weren’t watching so you can imagine what the couch looked like. Today we finally pulled out the leather touch up dye kit and we couldn’t believe it. The couch looks brand new. It’s a dark maroon color and you can’t see any of the scratches. The leather looks refreshed and like new! We can’t attest to how long it lasts yet but if it stays looking like this, this product is incredible. My husband keeps looking at the couch and saying “ WOW” and he is a perfectionist!! We would even buy this product for the leather car seats in the future. I wish I had taken before pictures!!

These are pictures of my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder. They had dry rot and had holes from my dog scratching. The springs were exposed. I used cotton batting to fill some of the voids under the hole and then used your small leather repair kit. I took my time and let each step cure properly. I also repaired scratches to the passenger side and rips in the back seat. I thought my steering wheel was going to need dye too, but after I cleaned it with your leather cleaner, all it required was your protective sealer, which I also did to my dash and doors. Everything looks AMAZING! I can’t believe it could go from this bad to this good! Thank you for your videos! They helped so much!

The ability of your product to redye the leather is obvious, however, you guys are under marketing your products ability to return the luster and suppleness to the leather!!!! Just letting you know that your product worked even better than your video demonstrated. You guys and your product are really great. It was really easy to use. We had a beautiful, old black leather Chesterfield with a long rip and a big hole in the one of the cushions (I have attached an after shot). The rip had been there for years and was getting bigger. The surface of the cushion was also quite badly crazed and creased. I ended up using both backing sheets and all of the filler as it was such a large area (about 2/3 of the surface of the cushion), but the end result is as if the cushion is brand new.
The filler worked an absolute treat. It was simple to use and dried flexibly and without any appreciable smell. The dye was spot on (interestingly, I ordered Black A (charcoal) for use on black leather and it was perfect). The dye took really well and gave a perfectly even coverage with no hint of the lighter colour of the filler underneath. I used three coats of dye across the entire surface of the cushion, colouring in all of the creases as well. The sealer worked really well and we now have a perfectly restored Chesterfield with no hint of damage. In fact, it worked so well, you can’t even see where the original 4″ rip was in the cover. We’re going to use the remaining dye and sealer to rejuvenate the rest of the sofa. Thank you so much. Even with the conversion into Australian dollars, it was still cheaper than taking it to an upholsterer and the end result has exceeded our expectations by a very large degree. “OK guys!! The old brown aniline hand-me-down sofa is finished and looks like new. All I need to do is touch up the metal studs with tinted poly glaze. They were already discolored, so I did not remove them during the refurbishing process. However, sponging the dye between the nail heads and then wiping them immediately with a clean cloth easily took all the green off the metal while allowing me to quickly get dye in between the studs easily. The sofa had several seriously oil-stained spots ( transfer of oily hair styling product) requiring up to 5 cleaning sessions on some. It also soaked up every drop of TWO eight-ounce bottles of dye! (Thanks for shipping quickly!) But, it looks terrific and still saved me several thousand dollars not buying a new dark green couch of this quality. Plus, it was harder worrying and stressing about starting the project than actually doing it!” –

My wife Judy refinished our leather sofa, chair and Ottoman. The set is 27 years old and is in our Alaskan Chalet Living Room where it gets direct sun exposure and UV damage year round. The arm of the chair had a rather large tear which she repaired with the patch and filler kit. The leather on the cushions was very faded, dry and with extensive very fine cracking.
I thought we would need to buy a new set, but decided to give your products a try. My wife who is an artist did all of the work and it came out beautiful, saving us thousands of dollars for a new Living Room set.

We have lived in our home for four years, The couch sits directly in front of the wood stove. This provides a very cozy place to sit in the winter, but it also had dried out the leather on the center couch cushion. While there was cracking across the entire front of the cushion, about a 12″ x 12″ portion of the leather on the left side of the cushion had dried out and cracked to the point where the backing below was starting to show. The backing was wearing in many places and the first hole (less than a dime in size) appeared about a month ago. I did some research on leather repair and found the site LeatherTouchUpDye.com. I bought a repair kit and a dye kit for about $100 total. The videos on the company web site (and youtube) were extremely informative and easy to follow. They stressed taking your time with the repair, so I did. I started the repair on Sunday and finished this afternoon (Tuesday). It took a couple of coats of leather filler that needed to completely dry (4-10 hours) before another coat was applied. I applied this across the entire front portion of the cushion. The white filler definitely showed how much cracking had happened. Then there was the application of the leather dye which was also applied in multiple coats but took less than an hour in total to complete. I think the pictures speak for themselves. If you look at the cushion picture about 6″ from the bottom left side a small divot is seen. That is what is left of the rip. The cracking is now completely gone and the cushion looks almost exactly like the other cushions again. I was extremely pleased with the product and the ease of achieving the results. Until I found this product I really did not think a leather repair of this quality could actually happen. I only wish I had taken a “Before” picture to show the transformation of this cushion. – (Black-B)

I’m pretty sure that my husband’s chair wins for ugliest item on this site. He bought the chair from an old guy who said it was the comfiest chair he ever had. We had an old blanket thrown over it. I have a pair of old, tired (use to be black) leather swivel chairs that I use to Love. They are extremely comfortable and I never wanted to part with them. But, the color turned a purplish faded color, and they looked awful. So after 10 years, I thought I was going to sell them at the garage sale this year. Your product is absolutely wonderful! My leather sofa, chair and ottoman were so faded and dry looking that I was tempted to buy new furniture. They were a rich dark blue when they were new. After 18 years in a very bright room they were (as you can see) now a light grayish blue and very dry looking. Now they are very soft to the touch. I was skeptical even after reading other testimonials and seeing the YouTube videos. It really was as easy an application as the videos showed. I only ordered the medium size kit in case it didn’t work for us. The medium size re-dyed the seats of our large sectional. I ordered more dye to go over some areas and also re-dye the back cushions. It even covered up cat scratches along the bottom edge of the sectional! Photo 1: What the seat cushions looked like with the filler applied to the cracked area. You can see how terribly faded they were. Photo 2: After the first application to the seat cushions only using an 8 oz bottle of dye. Photo 3: Finally, the finished piece! Let me start by saying the maroon dark brown C that you sent out was perfect!!! I cannot believe how well the furniture looks. I order the large and used it to cover a sofa, love seat huge chair, and ottoman. Many of the cushions were poorly faded to the point that they almost looked white. Despite this, the large kit covered, restored and blended everything nicely … and I still have a little product left, in case I ever need to touch up. My husband and kids are in awe. I cannot wait to host Christmas dinner today! Your responsiveness through this whole process has been awesome.
